Feed My Sheep Food Pantry/Mini-Mart

The purpose of human life is to serve and to show compassion and the will to help others

The Feed My Sheep Food Pantry/Mini-Mart & nutritional bag lunch program is a community focused, non-profit food program.

The Feed My Sheep Food Pantry/Mini Mart & nutritional bag lunch program is designed to serve East Oakland and its surrounding communities. It provides a unique opportunity for people to turn to for food.

It is a volunteer driven program that have in the past, distributed the following: food boxes/bags, nutritional bag lunches, clothing, and offered a variety of referrals services. The food pantry/mini-mart began operation on March 2, 2012.

We serve senior citizens, low-income individuals, families, children, homeless, the unemployed and anyone in need of food.

The Food Pantry/Mini-Mart & nutritional bag lunch program is founded on the biblical scripture: John 21:17. Jesus gives Peter, his disciple an instruction. Jesus says to Peter “Tend My Sheep”.

Our mission is based on a compassionate hand out and hand up as we respect the dignity of each person we serve.
